Personalised social and life skills sessions via video call — available worldwide, for individuals and families alike.
Finding the right support can feel overwhelming. Waiting lists are long, and when support is available, it often feels generic — worksheets, tick boxes, and sessions that don't account for individual needs and goals.
SLEducation was created to offer something different — dedicated, one-to-one time with a specialist who focuses entirely on the individual, using a structured, evidence-based approach that builds real, transferable skills for everyday life.
Sessions cover a wide range of communication and life skills, tailored to each individual's specific needs and goals.
Core communication skills including tone of voice, eye contact, facial expressions, and conversational turn-taking — the building blocks of everyday interaction.
Practising professional social scenarios including job interviews, workplace communication, and navigating professional environments with confidence.
Understanding signals of interest, navigating online and in-person dating, and building healthy romantic relationships. Available for individuals aged 18 and above.
Practical real-world skills including asking for directions, asking for help, managing a household, and handling everyday situations with confidence.
Navigating shared living, ambiguous social invitations, unstructured time, and knowing how and when to ask for support.
Building practical strategies for organisation, time management, and planning that support independence across daily life.

Each session is approximately one hour long and follows a clear, predictable structure. Every session focuses on one specific skill or social environment — chosen based on the individual's needs and goals.
Clients receive copies of the PDF presentations used in session, along with digital self-study workbooks and resources for parents and caregivers, where applicable.
A structured presentation covering one specific communication, life skill, or social environment — covering the theory, the social environment, and the reasoning behind it — clear, literal, and evidence-based. Topics include tone of voice, eye contact, facial expressions, conversational turn-taking, job interviews, asking for help, and more.
Live, spontaneous improvisation using real-life scenarios relevant to the individual. Verbal feedback is given after each scenario. While each session has a primary skill focus, Michelle will also observe and provide feedback across other areas of communication. Scenarios may vary to reflect different social contexts, with Michelle taking on different character roles to make the practice as realistic as possible.
A full feedback report on performance and progress is sent to the client and/or parent within 48 hours of every session.
No two individuals are the same. Before sessions begin, SLEducation uses a multi-faceted intake process to ensure every session is as relevant and effective as possible.
A 20-minute video call where you can ask questions, discuss the service, and find out if SLEducation is the right fit. No obligation to book.
Before Session 1, a Self-Assessment and, where relevant, a Parent/Carer Observation Form are sent — so both the individual's own voice and a parent or carer's insight shape the session plan from the very beginning.
The first session opens with a discussion of the completed forms — the individual's own Self-Assessment and, where relevant, the Parent/Carer Observation Form. From there, Michelle observes communication style, identifies any accommodations or support needed going forward, and takes the time to properly get to know who the individual is. The session closes by finalising the course of focus — whether that's independent living skills for university, communication, executive function, employment, relationships and dating, or another area entirely.
SLEducation's foundational session presentations are often adapted to reflect the individual's specific language proficiency, situations and goals. Additionally, fully bespoke materials are available as a separate service, including:
Descriptive guides that help individuals understand specific social situations, environments, and the perspectives of others — without prescribing what to say or do. Designed to build contextual understanding rather than fixed responses.
Workbooks built around the individual's specific real-life goals and challenges. Examples include preparing for a job interview, navigating a new workplace, managing a holiday or travel situation, or understanding and managing social fears.
A paid 45-minute video call session. Michelle reviews the feedback reports from completed sessions, explains the skills worked on, and provides parents with practical strategies to reinforce and support progress at home.
Parents and carers can book a Parent Strategy Session at any point during a package, or once it concludes — whichever suits your family best. Please contact Michelle directly to arrange this.
