We understand how hard it can be to find the right support

Finding the right support for your child can feel overwhelming. Waiting lists are long, and when support is available, it often feels generic — worksheets, tick boxes, and sessions that don't account for your child's individual needs and goals.

SLEducation was created to offer something different — dedicated, one-to-one time with a specialist who focuses entirely on your child, using a structured, evidence-based approach that builds real, transferable skills for everyday life.

What to expect from SLEducation

📞

Free Consultation

The first step is a free 20-minute Zoom call where you can ask questions, discuss the service, and find out if SLEducation is the right fit — with no obligation to book.

📋

A Collaborative Start

The first session is dedicated to getting to know your child — their strengths, personal goals, and areas they would like to improve in their social and everyday life. Before this session, a Self-Assessment is sent to the individual, and where the client is under 18 — or where a parent or carer wishes to be involved — a Parent/Carer Observation Form is also sent to ensure Session 1 is as focused and productive as possible. This collaborative approach ensures that both your insights as a parent and your child's own voice are central to the session plan from the very beginning.

📝

You Are Kept Informed

After every session, a full feedback report is sent to you and/or the individual within 48 hours. This covers what was covered, how your child performed, specific observations, and practical recommendations.

What makes SLEducation different

Scripted social skills training teaches fixed responses. The problem is real life doesn't follow a script. SLEducation uses improvisation — practising real, unpredictable situations in a comfortable, supportive environment — so your child builds genuine, flexible skills that transfer to everyday life.
No political or religious viewpoint is brought into any session or resource. It is not the role of an educator to influence a student's political or religious beliefs. Sessions focus purely on skill development, using clear facts and evidence. A student's values and beliefs are their own.
Every skill taught is grounded in evidence and explained in clear, literal language. Nothing is left to guesswork. The individual will always know exactly what they are learning and why it matters.
Sessions take place via Zoom, so there is no travel required. SLEducation is available to families anywhere in the world. Please contact us to discuss time zones if you are based outside the UK.
